Lobuche Peak (6,119m) via Gokyo lake and the two passes

  • If you like the look of our two passes trip but fancy going even higher, why not tackle Lobuche Peak along the way! At 6,119m it towers over its surrounding and offers stunning views of Everest, Nuptse and Ama Dablam which we admire as we summit at sunrise. You will have plenty of time to acclimatise as we cross two high mountain passes along the way: Renjo La Pass and Chola Pass. This is the trip for adventurers with a head for heights and a desire to experience mountaineering in the ever famous Everest Region.

Fit4 have trialled and tested this expedition and refined our itinerary to what we believe provides the perfect Himalayan adventure.

  • We have created a trip which we think is the perfect route around the Khumbu region, it avoids the busy Everest Base camp trail and passes lesser trodden trails through beautiful valleys. The two high mountain passes are great challenges and have truly incredible views. We have also planned the route carefully to try and do everything possible to ensure controlled acclimatisation and so prevent altitude sickness.

  • Yes, we work with Nepali licensed guides and porters. We want to support the local economy in Nepal as well as ensure you get the best service possible. Having guides who have lived in these mountains their whole life is a huge benefit to the trip. Jire, a proud father of 5 children, will be our lead local guide. 2 of his sons work alongside him and together they make a team like no other. He is a very experienced guide, with an extremely caring nature and will ensure that you stay healthy and happy along the way. The ratio for guides to guests will be 4:1.

  • Yes*.

A qualified international mountain leader will be with the group on this trip ensuring that your safety is top priority and helping with the smooth running of the trip

*if there are less than 4 guests unfortunately we are unable to send a group leader. However, we are working with a well established Nepali company and local guides that we have worked with before. Either way we are confident that you will be well looked after either way and have a great trip.
